Maze Hammer for running speed. Where and how to get it

After finishing the mentoring on Cyrene, I didn’t leave the planet, as there are plenty of quests here too, which I’ll gradually sort out and post here.

This article isn’t really about the quest… This is simply an exchange of shrapnel for the Maze Hammer. To make the exchange we need 50K shrapnel (5PED).

The NPC Mazeweaver Ricky that makes the exchange is located here – [Planet Cyrene, 138863, 76865, 99, Waypoint]. This exchange can be done once every 24 hours, but it’s not clear why someone might need a second hammer… But if you have 2 or more [Maze Hammers], you can exchange the extra ones back for shrapnel at nearby NPC Mazeweaver Rikardo.

What is the purpose of this item?

  1. If you pick it up you can increase your running speed by 10%.
  2. It can be used as a melee weapon.
  3. It’s effective at over 57%.
